Tom Snyder is president and CEO of Trivera Interactive in Suburban Milwaukee, WI. Founded in 1996 as one of the region’s first Internet development firms, Trivera assists clients in defining and realizing the potential of the Web as a powerful brand building tool, and helps individuals get better use out of the resources available.
Tom has been a Web and Social Media leader since the late 80’s, all the way back to the days when he participated in and moderated the Bulletin Board Systems that were the precursors to today’s Social Media. Along they way, he’s helped clients build and monetize online communities, while doing the same for himself, creating and running the Milwaukee High Definition TV Users Web site.
Over the years, Tom’s company has served big and small clients alike, including Motorola, Simplicity, Mitchell International Airport, Frabill, RegalWare, Usingers Famous Sausage, Potawatomi Casino and hundreds of others.
Tom has been writing articles on Web and Marketing best practices for printed and online publications since 1996.
Before founding Trivera, Tom spent over a decade in the broadcast industry, working both behind the microphone and behind the scenes for several Milwaukee radio stations and finally as marketing director for an international broadcast software firm.
As a blogger, seminar speaker and event producer, Tom has emerged as an influential market leader. As a former radio personality turned Web expert, he loves working with media… both traditional and new media alike. Tom is periodically profiled and used as a Web and Social Media expert by print and broadcast media outlets. More recently as a Social Media thought leader, Tom’s army of Twitter followers has been clicking through to read his Social Media and Web tip tweets at the rate of 30,000 a year.
Tom’s speaking credentials include Milwaukee Job Camp, LikeMind, Social Media Breakfast, The Biz Tech Expo, the NonBox/Eisner 2010 Marketing Summit and Social Media University – Milwaukee.
